This is the traditional, guttural, version of the E Hō Mai chant. The ancient Hawaiian oli is a powerful practice which creates a deep resonance and vibration within the body and the chant helps facilitate clearing and cleansing of the space to call forth the wisdom of the spiritual realm.

This Hawaiian chant was originally created by
Aunty Edith Kanaka’ole. This chant is used as a way to enter the mind into a state of sacred ceremony.
The chant (oli) is translated as:
"Grant us knowledge from above
The knowledge hidden in the chants
Grant us these things.”
In a sense, we are calling upon our spirit guides, angels, and ancestors above to share wisdom with us to guide us on our path.
